Set in a private association in Old Greenwich, this water view house was constructed in a flood zone six feet off the ground using concrete piers and a steel superstructure. The wrap-around porch hides the height of the main structure while becoming the exterior living space. Windows and a balcony open to views and breezes off the water. Bleached cedar shakes add to the island look and feel of the exterior. The interior offers darker antique beams and a candelabra which add color contrasts.
