Tony Savino, Principal

Tony Savino was educated and trained as an architect. After several years in the office, he decided that as much as he liked designing structures, he liked building them more. Over the last 30 years he has built some 600 projects, both commercial and residential, including shopping centers, condominiums, restaurants, office buildings, retail shops, residential subdivisions, residential additions and renovations, custom homes and large solar arrays.

Tony has been the principal of A.P. Savino LLC with offices in Old Greenwich since 1998. He is a builder member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County and is registered as a Home Improvement Contractor and New Home Construction Contractor. Tony has served as Chairman of the Killingworth Housing Partnership evaluating and making recommendations to the Board of Selectmen on affordable housing.

Drexel Frye, Executive Supervisor

Drexel Frye is Executive Supervisor at A.P. Savino LLC. He has over 30 years of experience in the building industry. Previously, Drexel owned Drexel Enterprises, LLC, an architectural millwork company specializing in the manufacturing and installation of custom wood projects to the residential and commercial markets. Drexel attended Randolph Macon University where he earned a BA in Business.

Stephen Gushue, Project Manager

Stephen Gushue is a project manager at A.P. Savino LLC. Stephen has 6 years of experience in estimating and project management. Before joining our team, Stephen had 14 years of experience working with ERG Architect in Greenwich, CT, performing residential and commercial AutoCAD design and construction documentation.

Stephen’s responsibilities at A.P. Savino LLC include producing and reviewing drawings, bidding of subcontractors and material suppliers, site supervision, and project administration. He can be reached at

Donna Baiocchi, Operations

Donna Baiocchi is in charge of all operations and accounting at A.P. Savino LLC. Previously, Donna worked for Saab Scania and was responsible for their general ledger and reported to the Chief Financial Officer. She earned a BA in Accounting from Southern Connecticut State University.

Donna’s responsibilities at A.P. Savino LLC include working with accountants on audits and taxes, invoicing and creating and monitoring project reports.

Ami Mehta, Director of Business Development

Ami earned her undergraduate degree at Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1995. Following this, she attended Law School at Brooklyn Law School, where she graduated in 1998. Ami practiced law in Manhattan for several years in both private firms and the public sector. She eventually decided to change directions and has joined A.P. Savino LLC as the Director of Business Development, cultivating relationships with architects, property managers, realtors and potential clients. She lives in Woodbridge, CT.
