Tony Savino, Principal

Tony Savino was educated and trained as an architect. After several years in the office, he decided that as much as he liked designing structures, he liked building them more. Over the last 20 years he has built some 500 projects, both commercial and residential, including shopping centers, condominiums, restaurants, office buildings, retail shops, residential subdivisions, residential additions and renovations, and custom homes.

Tony has been the principal of A.P. Savino LLC with offices in Old Greenwich since 1998. He is a builder member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County and is registered as a Home Improvement Contractor and New Home Construction Contractor. Currently, Tony serves as Chairman of the Killingworth Housing Partnership evaluating and making recommendations to the Board of Selectmen on affordable housing. tony@apsavinollc.com

Amy Yu, Assistant Project Manager

Amy Yu is an Assistant Project Manager at A.P. Savino LLC. She is a Greenwich resident, and met Tony when she and her husband hired A.P. Savino LLC to do a renovation project on their home. She graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in Political Science and Psychology. She also holds an MS from Cornell University in Industrial Labor Relations. Previously, she has worked at McKinsey & Company recruiting for Associates and Business Analysts. She left McKinsey to begin her family and has been focused on her three children since then. She is an active member of the Greenwich community, serving on various boards and committees at the local schools. Amy can be reached at amy@apsavinollc.com.

Mike Borgesano, Project Manager

Mike Borgesano is the lead carpenter and project manager for AP Savino. He graduated from Seymour High School in 1983 and entered right into the trades. From 1984-1985 he was a carpenter's apprentice. He moved on from 1985-1986 and worked in a cabinet and countertop shop. He worked in carpentry until 1990, when the economy forced him to switch industries. From 1990 to 1997, Mike worked at Sikorsky as an expeditor. In 1997, he left Sikorsky and started Choice Home Improvement. Through this company, he met Tony and has been working with him ever since. He continues to live in Seymour, in a home he completely renovated himself, with his wife, Renee. Mike can be reached at mike@apsavinollc.com.

Stephen Gushue, Project Manager

Stephen Gushue is a project manager for A.P. Savino LLC. Stephen has three years experience in estimating and project management. Before joining our team, Stephen had fourteen years experience working with ERG Architect in Greenwich, CT, performing residential and commercial AutoCAD design and construction documentation. A local project can be enjoyed at the Beach House Cafe in Old Greenwich, CT. In his free time, Stephen enjoys longboard surfing, digital photography and spending time with his wife and daughter. Kira Savino, Marketing

Kira Savino is in charge of marketing for AP Savino LLC. She graduated from Eckerd College in 2009.  Kira is Tony’s daughter and is also involved in Sound Solar Systems, a sister company of A.P. Savino LLC. Her previous experience includes internships at Merrill Lynch in New York and The Globe Pequot Press in Guilford, CT. In addition to working for A.P. Savino and Sound Solar Systems, Kira also waitresses at an Italian restaurant in East Haddam on the weekends. She currently resides in Chester, CT. Kira can be reached at kira@apsavinollc.com.
